About my Process

Utilizing an infrared waxing system, I've developed a process that allows me to read each snowboard/ski base from end to end — evaluating the uniformity and depth of wax infusion as I go.

Traditional drip-and-scrape methods, and even high-speed belt machines, often leave wax sitting on the surface with no way to see how much has actually penetrated the base. That fresh wax job can wear off after just a day or two on the snow, and sometimes almost be scraped clear off as part of that traditional process.

Infrared waxing uses gentle, even heat to warm the base more thoroughly, soaking more wax deeper for better conditioning, control, and consistency; and my service includes taking the time to make as many passes, and using enough wax, as necessary to achieve deep, even infusion for longer-lasting performance.
